The ULYSSE BDA law firm is the fruit of an association between Marie Schocher, Philippe Bonnin and Alexis Degagny, partners at ULYSSE and BDA, and their teams.
The merger of the two firms has been guided by a shared culture, complementary positioning in the different fields and a desire to create a new leading player in business law and tax law in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, while exerting a broader influence throughout France and abroad.
It is part of a true corporate growth plan aimed at giving ULYSSE BDA the critical mass to offer a comprehensive range of business and tax law services, whilst optimising its customer service.
BDA was founded in 2010 by Didier Brézillon, who was joined in 2011 by Alexis Degagny. The firm is renowned for its expertise in French and international tax law, and has developed a solid business law practice, specialising mainly in transactions, mergers & acquisitions and shareholder relations. ULYSSE was founded in 2010 by Philippe Bonnin and Marc Deneuville. In 2018, Marie Schocher, who been with firm since 2010, joined them as a partner. The firm has built an established reputation in business law (mergers & acquisitions, equity transactions, contracts), in tax law and in wine estate transactions.
