Ulysse Avocats (Marie Schocher and Aubane Revol Germain) have assisted the Siblu group with its takeover of the New Aire Holding Group, which runs seven camp sites under the Camping Grand Sud brand name.
Of the seven sites acquired from New Aire Holding, five are situated in the Landes region where Siblu already owns two camp sites. The others are in Gironde and Pyrénées-Orientales.
Created some forty years ago, Siblu is now one of the leading operators in the European outdoor accommodation market, and number one in the sale of static caravans to owner-occupiers in France. In 2021, the Pessac-based group posted revenues of €200 million from its 25 holiday villages, 22 of which are located in France.
For Siblu, which is committed to an external growth strategy, this acquisition allows it to increase its portfolio of accommodation spaces by a quarter, namely about 3,500 units. The operation has been financed by a capital increase subscribed to by all shareholders, led by majority shareholder Naxicap Partners, and by drawing on a Unirate financing line set up by the Arcmont fund in December 2019.
